Tisha B'Av: Day of Disruptive Mourning

WHAT: Tisha B'Av: Day of Disruptive Mourning
WHEN: Sunday, August 3, 2 PM
WHERE: Eastern end of Sheep Meadow, Central Park

Join Jews Against White Supremacy and Making Mensches this Sunday for Tisha B'Av. We are meeting for a day of disruptive mourning in Central Park. Making Mensches will lead us in a brief and untraditional Tisha B'Av service and members of JAWS NYC will speak about the role of the Jewish National Fund in the Zionist occupation of Palestine.

Then we will use our voices, signs, and rituals to externalize our grief over the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people and the US-manufactured famine in Gaza. No justice in Palestine, no peace in New York!
